Contacts and lists

Where contacts come from, custom fields, spreadsheet import, lists with segments, and unsubscribes.

Contacts

A contact is a person with at least one channel — e-mail, WhatsApp or Telegram. Fields beyond name and channel are defined per workspace under Settings → Contact fields, and each field becomes a `{{field}}` variable in campaign e-mails. Limits: 100 contacts on Solo, 1,000 on Pro, 10,000 on Team, 100,000 on Business.

  1. 01Import from a spreadsheet: `.xlsx` or `.csv`. An unknown column becomes a custom field on the spot; the preview shows what will be written before anything is saved.
  2. 02A public form with a target list creates the contact and subscribes it by itself.
  3. 03The API (`POST /api/v1/contacts`) creates and updates by channel.

Broadcast lists

A list is a set of contacts, assembled by hand or by segment — a filter over the fields ("state = SP and plan = pro") that the list re-evaluates on its own. A campaign is sent to lists; a sequence enrolls contacts. Limits: 1 list on Solo, 5 on Pro, 50 on Team, 200 on Business.

Unsubscribe

Every campaign e-mail goes out with an unsubscribe link and the `List-Unsubscribe` header (the mail provider's own button). An unsubscribe has a scope: the list that sent it, or the whole workspace. It never removes the contact from the list — it records that the address no longer receives, and the Unsubscribes screen shows who left and through which door.
